Marvin and Rosie Hollingshead have been married for 67 years. Rosie started living at the senior living community Valley View Village in early 2020.

“They take such good care of her,” said Hollingshead. “They treat her just like I would.””

Though the pandemic necessitated visiting restrictions, Marvin appreciates the efforts Valley View Village staff made to help him and Rosie connect. At this time, Marvin and Rosie converse by phone while seeing each other at a window. With the roll out of the vaccine, Marvin is hopeful he can see Rosie soon, and “give her the hardest hug we’ve ever had since we were married.”
