Chapel Renovation Moves Forward with Phase 2

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the next phase of the chapel renovation at Valley View Village is officially underway! With $902,000 in contributions and pledges across both phases, we are now moving forward with the most significant updates yet.

Phase 2 will bring major improvements, including new restrooms, a fellowship room, a kitchen/concession area, updated flooring, lighting, ceiling, fresh drywall and paint, an upgraded HVAC system, and modernized plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. These changes will enhance the chapel as a space for worship, community gatherings and moments of reflection, enriching the fullness of life for our residents.

“Thank you, for your generous donations to the chapel/community room. It will have a lasting impact on the lives of our residents, providing them with a space for peace, connection and growth,” says Stephanie Proper, executive director/ administrator. “I am deeply grateful for your support in enhancing their quality of life.”

The excitement is growing as construction continues.

“Many thanks to all of you who have given so generously to Phase 2 of the chapel renovation campaign. As the second phase has begun the excitement all over the Valley View campus is palpable! Our dreams are finally becoming a reality. This newly renovated space will allow us to better serve the many residents and staff of Valley View Village, in the spirit of Christ’s love for generations to come,” says Michael Evans, lead chaplain.

We are grateful to our donors for making this transformation possible. Your generosity is creating a chapel where faith, fellowship and fullness of life can thrive at Valley View Village for years to come!
